- KEEPER OF THE LIGHT (A person or organization who maintains the flame for an extended period of time and makes it available to others)
- POTENTIAL CARRIER (This person is willing to travel in order to share the Peace Light but has not yet made specific travel plans; shown with the distance they are willing to travel)
- EVENT (A structured event such as a worship service or candlelight ceremony involving spreading the Peace Light)
- HOSTING SITE (A location, often unattended, where the Peace Light is available for others to pick up)
- PLANNED PATH OF TRAVEL (The route the Peace Light takes in spreading across North America)
- MEETUP (A quick stop along a path of travel to pass the Peace Light from one person to another)
